It's Christmas Time...

We went and got our tree at Ticonderoga Tree Farm in Chantilly this year. Unfortunately, I was not all that impressed with the place...compared to where we went last year which was amazing (don't ask me where it was, Keith and I can't remember if it was off route 9 or route 15...we just know it was on the left). Chris had a pretty good time until he fell in a hole and was soaking wet from his knees down. They didn't cut down the grass, or clear out the massive weeds around the trees, or fill in the holes where they had pulled up stumps. Talk about booby traps! But, the important thing is we got our tree and had a great time decorating it!

Walt Disney Trip October 2010

I have been telling myself for weeks that I need to get back to posting on this blog...and it just never happened. So today I am going to try to take you back over the past several months to see what we Lee-Diamond's have been up to. I figured the best place to start was our glorious, wonderful, amazing, crazy, fabulous (I could go on) trip to Disney World October 23 - November 1, 2010. We had so much fun! FYI, this will be a long post with lots of photos. :)

My Mom and Dad came with us this year. We took 2 days to drive down. Keith is great for long road trips because he can go go go for a long period of time. We left at 4:30 in the am on the 23rd. We stopped in Savannah, GA that evening.

Our favorite resort to stay at is the Caribbean Beach Resort on Disney Property. I had been coming to this resort since I was a kid...and the price was half of what it is now...bummer! Go figure, Chris was wide awake, until we got to the Disney exit off I4. Too funny. We got checked in and went to our rooms in Aruba...if you ever plan to stay here, this is the perfect island to stay at. You are within walking distance to the food court, pools, beach, etc. We decided to take a break this day and let the little guy sleep. After he woke up we went to Downtown Disney for the evening.

Our first day we went to the Magic Kingdom. Chris was all eyes and had a great time. There was absolutely no fear when it came to the characters. Made us proud!Seeing Woody, Jesse, and Buzz were definitely the highlight of this day...oh, and riding on the choo choo.

Tuesday we went to Hollywood Studios for the day, and then went back to the Magic Kingdom for the Halloween party that night. After going to the Christmas Party and the Halloween Party, we definitely like the Christmas Party more. It's not nearly as crowded. On the upside though, we came back to the hotel that night with at least 10lbs of candy.

Wednesday was our break day. We went to Animal Kingdom in the morning, swam in the afternoon, and went to the HoopDeeDoo for dinner. Best food and dinner show ever!!

Thursday, it was back to Hollywood Studios. Keith had the wonderful honor of being part of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spactacular Show. He had to do a girly walk and a death scene. Needless to say, it was hilarious! Chris loved the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground! We also enjoyed the Lights, Motors, Action Show.

Friday we went back to the Magic Kingdom. We did a character lunch at the Crystal Palace...it wasn't nearly as good as it had been in the past, but we got a lot of facetime with the characters so that was worth it. Chris passed out that afternoon on our way home. To much energy exerted.

Saturday was a sad day. Our last day at the parks. We went back to Magic Kingdom for a little bit, and then rushed over to Hollywood Studios to go to the playground again. We got back to the resort in the late afternoon and spent the rest of the day at the pool. It was such a shocker to go from 85 degree weather, swimming outside, to 35 degree weather 2 days later...I didn't like it!!

As you can see, we had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!!!
